Products of the Month!

Cillian - SnoozeShade™

Hi everyone, while we were in Ireland Mummy, Daddy, Darragh and I were lucky to have a week's holiday in Portugal. We spent most of the day swimming at the pool or playing on the beach so I got very tired and really enjoyed my day sleep. I LOVE the SnoozeShade™ that Mummy attached to my buggy when it was time for me to have a sleep. The SnoozeShade™ makes the buggy nice and dark and helped me to get my full normal day sleep while Mummy, Daddy and Darragh ate  I have never seen my Mummy eat so much, we stayed at a resort where all the meals were included and the food was so nice mummy just kept eating!

Here are some more details about, the SnoozeShade™ -

SnoozeShade™ is the sleeping on-the-go solution that mums and babies have been waiting for.  A blackout blind for baby prams and strollers, created specifically to help babies get the sleep they need when they're out and about. IAltough a baby doesn't need to be in darkness while he sleep he needs to see the same thing while going to sleep and resettling from one sleep cycle to the next. If this is the view of one shop when your baby settles and another shop when your baby wakes between sleep cycles you risk your baby not resettling.

Product Information

  • SnoozeShade™ is a great way to create a dark calm environment for baby to sleep and keep baby shaded from the sun when out and about on hot sunny days with UPF50+
  • Developed by a Mum to create a simple and secure alternative to draping coats or blankets over the pram or pushchair to help baby sleep
Great for holidays, out and about or as an everyday essential to create a darkened area for baby to sleep when shopping or in restaurants during sleeptime
  • Suitable from birth and easily moved from pram to pushchair as baby grows
  • Can be used all year round and features a handy "sneak a peak" front zip so you can quietly check baby at anytime. It also is UPF50+
  • SnoozeShade™ blacks out 94 percent of light and creates a shady and well ventilated environment
  • The universal fit, using Velcro straps, means it is suitable for most prams and strollers, either 3 or 4 wheel as well as rear facing infant car seats with hoods. The patented pending design works in both flat-lying pram or upright pushchair modes
  • Small, light and highly portable, SnoozeShade™  folds into a small bag that can be put in a handbag, change bag, the pram's basket or hung on the pram handles.
  • Product Dimensions: 25cm x 19cm x 8cm
  • Product Weight: 0.23kg

Mummy Says:

A few of you have asked can a baby see out through the SnoozeShade™ to resettle between sleep cycles. I have said "it is important for a baby while out and about to see you so they can resettle" but this is because if they can not see you they might see other people, bright lights or objects that are unfamiliar to them which might stop them from resettling so in this case it helps a baby to resettle by seeing you. However they do not need to see you if you are using a SnoozeShade™  which makes going out and about even easier because the shade will block out other people, bright lights or objects but is breathable not like some blankets and wraps some parents use.

Tizzie's Tip Corner

New and Improved Online Advice Area

My tip for this month is a little different; it is the tip to join my new and improved General Forums and online advice area!

While I was away the team and I decided the advice area needed an overhaul as we wanted to be able to reach as many parents needing support and advice in following my routines as possible and to provide these parents a safe, secure, friendly and fully moderated platform to so. Therefore we created the new and improved Forum and Online Advice service.

What is the Save Our Sleep General Forum and Advice area?

The Save Our Sleep General forum offers a friendly, supportive online community where parents can help other parents establish and follow my routines and advice and help answer any questions that may come up along the way. The forum is a safe and secure environment where you can chat, help each other and share in the day to day joys, achievements and challenges of parenting.

Within this forum we have online mothers groups where friendships can be built and shared. We aim to provide you with the safest possible platform for you to share your questions regarding the routines and advice as well as share things like family pictures, stories, non SOS topics, product reviews, trading room and much more.

The General Forum is a community of like-minded people who willingly share their experiences, baby advice and support with new members. The SOS moderating team checks the advice given and a member of my team will step in if any incorrect, misleading or potentially unsafe advice is given. This area is a Forum only and does not automatically entitle members to support directly from my team or myself, but both the team and I are active in this area. If you are looking to have the extra assurance that I will offer help and advice then you will need to consider purchasing one-one-one consultation.

The small annual fee to this support service enables the Save Our Sleep® team to continue offering this advice service and to maintain a safe online community for all parents. The General Forum membership also gives you READ ONLY access to the Online Advice area and my one-on-one consultation area where you can read further advice of experienced Save Our Sleep parents as well as the Save Our Sleep team and myself. You will be able READ threads in these areas but you will not be able to post.

If at any point you wish to have me personally step in and help resolve your settling, sleep and or feeding problems you can purchase a one month upgrade token to a one-on-one consultation with me. Once your consultation is complete you can resume your General Forum area membership for the duration of your 12 month membership. This will provide you with the peace of mind of having the 24 hour, 7 days a week back up support of other parents following the Save Our Sleep routines. (please note there is a current waiting list for this service)

The forum area has grown incredibly in the last couple of weeks since the implementation of the changes and feedback is confirming to us that the forum is  already providing to be a lifeline for hundreds of parents who have chosen to join. If you would like to chat to like minded parents and ask your settling, sleep, and feeding questions and much, much more I would encourage you to consider a membership and joining in our amazing community.

Other News

My other big project I am working on at the moment is my Food and Feeding book. This is getting near completion and I am so excited about how it is coming along. Whilst it is very time consuming I am confident you are all going to love it when it is released early next year. The closeness of the deadline means I am not able to take on any new one on one consultations at the moment but we do have a waiting list which we are adding names to. I am however confident that the new forum and advice area will provide great support and advice in the meantime.

GO CADEL!!!
